As one of central Ohio’s oldest benefits and retirement plan administration practices, JHB (previously the Jacob Company) began providing qualified plan administration in 1968. The firm took on new ownership and management in 2004 when retirement plan veterans, Steve Haxton CPA, President and Larry Boord JD, Principal, partnered to bring both management depth and plan expertise to the company.


Today, JHB is the largest, locally owned, retirement plan Third Party Administration firm in central Ohio. We provide administrative services to companies ranging from one employee to tens of thousands of employees. At the request of our clients, JHB is expanding to help select and manage other benefit solutions, including Non-Qualified Plans, Section 125 Plans and Health Savings Accounts (HSAs).
